The last real jadakiss LP, The Last Kiss, was not memorable, but it managed to manoeuvre over 100,000 units in its first week. Those numbers wouldn't have generated much money, power or respect in the heyday of LOX. For Jada, in the rap economy of 2009, and after two heavily controlled solo albums, it was a triumph on the billboard. Kiss continued to tout The Last Kiss as his best-marketed album, and meanwhile, tracks like "Broken Safety" and "Cartel Gathering" had everyone wondering if a record consisting solely of live guns blasting over sinister beats wouldn't have done as well as all those joints with Mary J. Blige and Trey Songz. It certainly would have been cheaper.
